The Kreellers are a high energy Celtic Rock group hailing from Detroit, Michigan. This four-piece powerhouse has been unstoppable, performing over 100 shows in 2009, recording the music for Fuji’s Enviromax Battery ad campaign, and writing and recording new tunes for their upcoming CD. Still steeped in traditional Irish sound, the band’s mix of rock, funk, and even punk elements has created a sound that has won over fans, critics, and even skeptics throughout the North and Midwest and has made them one of the most sought after Celtic acts in the region. 




Derek Wade - Lead Vocals, Harmonica, Mandolin

The keystone of the Kreellers’ sound is the soaring voice of Derek Wade. One of the highlights of a show are acapella songs, where Derek’s voice makes an audience of hundreds feel like they’re getting their own one on one show.  Adding mandolin and harmonica,  Derek’s energy and stage presence completes the experience of a Kreellers’ show.






Paul Bruno -  Guitar, Bodhran, Accordion, Keyboards,  Vocals

Playing keyboards and guitar in bands since dirt was new, Paul’s driving rhythm guitar forms the bridge between the Kreellers’ Irish traditional and pounding rock style. Completely self- taught, Paul also adds bodhran and occasional accordion stylings to the arrangements.







Bob Gilbert - Percussion, Percussion, and some more Percussion

Playing and touring professionally in multiple styles for years, Bob Gilbert has been described by fans as a “a madman on drums”. Bob’s experience in diverse styles makes the driving force that propels the band and the audience.
